Went to my first assembly on thur. 14th & loved it ,one day is not enough to speak to all the knowledgeable folk there. Was camped out in st. Regis wilderness & spent the day drooling over all the beautiful craft. While I own four canoes ,two of which are wood canvas, I went to sleep wondering how to tell my wife I needed a few more ! Did You go this year, perhaps you know who the fellow was with the varnished lapstreak canoes at the north end nearest the lake (I lost his card ). I will be joining the association due to my visit & having a mystery wood canvas canoe at home.
