I found this on Abe books, $3.70, probably dated but what the heck. It would be perfect for a cold rainy day next to the wood stove in my wall tent, but I’m like a kid at Christmas with these little gems, I’ll read slow and study the pictures.

I have had a axe of my own since I was 11 or 12, was splitting kindling for the home fires before that. Only scars I have from axes, are from hatchets. They are just short handled axes, waiting to injure the unwary. These days I have a big Laplander knife called a Leuku in Finnish, that I use instead of a hatchet.
