"The Wooden Canoe Builders' Guild was formed in 1996 to serve the collective needs and interests of builders and restorers of cedar canvas and woodstrip epoxy watercraft and to foster public interest in and knowledge of such watercraft. The Guild provides a forum for co-operation and communication among wooden canoe and kayak builders and facilitates the co-operative bulk purchasing of the specialised products and materials used in the construction of these vessels."

21 canoe builders are listed on the following page. I don't know how current any of this is.

Many of the Canadian listings on the membership page are indeed no longer in operation. This past summer, I compiled a more current list of active builders / restorers for the Canadian chapter of the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association. Not all are Guild members, but this new list can be viewed at the following link:

I suspected that website was kind of old. Thanks for the updated list, Murat, and also for your work with the Northern Lakes Chapter of the WCHA.
