Teslin/Yukon river 2015.

Here is a few picture of a 10 day trip we just finished. It is in the same drainage as the trip we did in June. The river start south of Whitehorse, in Johnson Crossing where Teslin lake empty it self into the Teslin River, that it self empty into the Yukon river at Hootalinqua. The river use to be one of the major route of the paddle wheelers up to the late 50's.

We were a big group, to big for my liking, but some time you have to do things to keep the wife happy, like they say, Happy wife, Happy Life!!
So 21 of us, 10 adults and 11 kids from under 2 years old to 11 years old in 8 canoes. It was a good trip over all with decent weather. A lot of head wind. Great fishing, but no bull moose to fill the freezer!!

Thanks for the memories ! In 2012 we didn't see 20 people total on the Teslin. But we did see 10 and they all camped with us the first night. So much for our formerly quiet campsite.
After that we didn't see them at all

On our trip it was busy, especially after we got on the Yukon river.... Next year we are doing some thing a bit more "wild".
