Strap on Glove

I’m concerned about neuropathy symptoms occurring whilst paddling. Anyone have a good hack to strap my hand to the paddle so I can get back to shore? Not sure if a numb arm will preclude it, but I do know gripping a paddle is impossible without sensation in my hand.

Blackfly: What about Velcro stitched to the palm of a glove and glued to an "emergency use" paddle? Wouldn't help with a numb arm but might compensate for lack of grip strength enough to get you home(?)
