https://www.gnarlzoutdoors.com/ I bought a w\c canoe from this guy who is importing boats from the UK and I just checked out his website, pretty cool. He has a few models of specialized WW boats and one more traditional prospector style boat called the broadland. They are nice looking boats, the 16' model is 15.8 inches deep, I think the stems were 21 and the seats looked to be closer to the center for running rapids. They call it a light WW boat. The material is Duralite and Duracore you can check out Silverbirtch web site for more info. It seems like a good alternative to royalex with similar weight and it's made to bounce off rocks. They are advertised at 1000.00 bucks.
The company seems to have a good philosophy on canoeing and the outdoors and I enjoyed their videos so much it's got me thinking about a WW playboat. If you go to their website be sure to watch the video of them taking loaded broadlands down Smokehole Canyon. There other videos show a lot of crazy East Coast WW.
