Hi all,

Here is Part 1 of a canoe trip I took last summer. It is the story of a 12 day, 116km canoe trip through the Temagami Wilderness taken August 26 - September 6, 2019 by my husband Sean and myself. We traverse large lakes, drag up tiny creeks, and portage our butts off (literally). It ends up being one of the best trips we've taken, if not the best!

The loop started on the South end of Obabika, travelled through Diamond Lake and Chee Skon Lake with some interesting added detours which you can read about on the blog!

Heatherlynne, I have always enjoyed your trip reports and this was just as much a pleasure as some of your earlier ones. It's been a while since you posted here so it was great to see this link to a new trip! Many thanks!

The link to the trip report no longer works. Is it available elsewhere ? We always dreaded diamond portage. 2 miles of first mud up to your knees & downed trees, then seemingly endless slog.
