Nym Lake Racer's Portage Warning

Just returned from Quetico (Cold, Wet, Windy) and wanted to get this out B4 anyone else attempts the two Racer's Portages out of the SE corner of Nym Lake. The 850M into Gillnet Lake is fine but the 820M into Pickerel was impassible for us given the extreme blow-down. I dropped the boat on top a mess of down trees and honestly army crawled under the tangled mess in a failed attempt to get back on the portage. Someone on the BWCA forum also commented as was on that same route a day behind us. Nym Lake is outside of Quetico so the portage maintenance responsibility is a bit ambiguous. We did check first with the staff at Atikokan who assured us the portages were recently cleared.
