Greetings! I stumbled onto Mike McCrea's serial trip report on the Green via another paddling web site and was so entranced I had to join here. I love river travel and trip out of an Esquif Vertige, Mad River Explorer and sometimes an old bucket boat named the Gear Pig, usually on the streams of the Arkansas and Missouri Ozarks. My paddling buddies are like family to me and I met most of them on my canoe club message board so I know how valuable this kind of resource is. I look forward to many good conversations.

Ah. Thanks! Yeah, poor old Mulberry George gets into more trouble. My mainmostest floating buddy Paul found him in an eddy on the Mulberry river and he's been with us ever since. He recently confided in me that he would have preferred a dignified drowning on the Mulberry to what he's been through with us, but the good news is a girlfriend for him mysteriously appeared on Paul's porch a few weeks ago. Here's an album of a trip we took on the Buffalo last Father's Day weekend. My daughter Gracie is known by many as Little Deuce. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=28a7ff3a97
