A buddy and I did a race this past weekend. It was fun but tough! 22 miles with about ~400,000 logjams. No joke I think there was something to go under, over or around every 200 yards. We took a 17’ Ouachita aluminum and competed in the TCKRA pro class. It was just for fun for us. Wanted to see what it was like to be with other fast paddlers. There was only 4 boats in our class so a small fast start! It was about 50-70 yards from the start to the first downed tree. 
We finished in 6 hours. Slow compared to the others in our class but was fun none the less.
