Lightweight canoe kit?

I would like to build a lightweight one-man canoe. Cuben fiber fabric for the hull would be great.

Does anyone know of such a kit? Or any very lightweight canoe it?

not abrasion resistance, possible pinholes. I've seen heavy duty plastic over a Monfort geodesic frame. 8 lbs for 12 foot boat. What do you mean by light?

You can get a stripper down to 30 lbs.

Don't know of any kits along those lines. Montfort is at www.gaboats.com. Plans, and instructional video on DVD.
