Last time they lay out clothes to dry, hang up and the last time this year to wash, dry and lay Wilma.

This year I have paddled about 350km so far and I just can't get the big grin off my face.

Lots of canoes and no kayaks. That's a rare site now in the USA. That was the Rur River?

Yes, it was the river Rur.

The last weekend we had organized by a canoe club, large canoe meeting with over 60 people. We were with more than 50 canoes on the river and have made a "season closing trip", which then ended at the end of the tour in a reservoir.

In total that was more than 20 km on the river and then another 4-5 km on the reservoir.

It was a great experience for me to do a fall tour with so many Canus in one weekend.
I could hardly get enough of the many beautiful boats and all the accessories and equipment.
Of course, I got a lot of inspiration what I can still improve and / or change at Wilma.

I noted that, too. Great pictures and looks like great fun- well done!
I'll paddle until I can't- ie the water turns solid- so figure there are (hopefully) a few weekends left. Frost again this morning but going up to high of 4 degrees this afternoon!

- Yes.

If so, what is the name of your club and where is it located?
- The name of the club is EKC ( Eschweiler Kanu Club e.V.)

- The boathouse of the canoe club is located close to the reservoir "Obermaubach" at the northern end and can be reached by boat trolley, on foot.



Does the club own the building and the large trailer?
- Yes, the club actually has two of these big boat trailers.

Can people store their canoes in the building?
- Yes, the club also owns a "boat house" where club members can store their boats and equipment.

I am not a member of this canoe club and only participated as a guest in the final trip as a single rider.

I was there with a friend that weekend and we had our "little equipment" with us and set up ...

yes, in deed. Especially since all the people there were all new to me.
I was also surprised by the fact that there are a lot of older people canoeing. So I felt then not quite so alone.
