After visiting the site several times it became apparent that there are many like minded canoe enthusiast here. I have enjoyed being on the water most of my life and hope to be able to continue. Being able to share ideas and techniques with others is very appealing. There are so many areas I want to explore and the guidance and knowledge from others will be much appreciated.

Thanks snapper. You're in a great area. Went to Hartwick in 67, 68.
If plans don't get upset, I'll get the paddle wet in St Regis on Wednesday. I'm long overdue!

Charles - I work on the "other" hill on the SUCO campus. Finishing up my 34th year here but even with that length of time we never overlapped. If you come up to visit your alma mater sometime let me know and we can paddle a stretch of the Susquehanna if you're interested. The water is great and there lots of wildlife to be seen.
