North east Indiana here. I have been paddling for many years but seriously since about 2004. Went through the normal quest for the perfect boat that does it all and of course now own many. My wife and I made our first trip to the boundary waters this year and had a great time and will be going back. I'm in a mixed marriage paddling a solo canoe and my wife paddles a kayak and we paddle locally nearly every weekend when there is water.
