We paddle a lot with our daughter. She's 8 now and is my bow paddler on every thing I go dow to. She's been with us on trips since she was 7 months old(she's born at halloween so couldn't be in a boat before the following spring). longest trip so far are 10 days, we've done any of them. Traveling with kids is easier than people think!

This is a great subject, I have alway worked to get my grand kids paddling, (I started too late).

Never to late!! Last year we did a 10 day trip on the Teslin river, we were 22 people, 10 adults and 12 kids.... Other than being to many people to my liking, it was a blast, the kids had so much fun!!
I miss tripping with the kids.
