My wife and I have been actively canoe tripping the backcountry for a few years now. I grew up hunting, fishing, participating in competitive clay target and rifle shooting in the southwestern region of Ontario. We have a new addition to our family, a Labrador puppy by the name of Nova she's 7 months old now. We are currently preparing her for her first backcountry expedition by canoe. Happy to be a part of the community here and hope to share my experiences with others.
