Lakes freezing over are one thing. When I see the Snake River freezing over, I know winter is really here. No winter for us this year.

Locals say that the face of this dam has never frozen before this year.

I read that as of today (Feb. 14), Lake Champlain has completely frozen over so Glenn's earlier post has come to fruition.
