I never heard of Git-Rot until I saw it mentioned here... I need to repair some rotted wood (full disclosure, it's plywood in a camper, not a canoe). Looking around, some people recommend Rot Doctor, and West Marine has their own brand "Marine Rot Repair Penetrating Epoxy" at a considerably lower price. In the past I've used Minwax Wood Hardener, which I get the impression is heavily thinned polyurethane or spar varnish, with mediocre results.
