First family trip new canoe

Meant to post this a few weeks ago…

After considering fishing boats for a long time, I experienced a moment of great clarity - the fact I could buy a canoe. It would cost less, give easier access to that boat launches and trailering, be healthier, and pair with our camping lifestyle. In other words, we could be on the water now and having fun.

So we bought an end of season deal on an Old Town Discovery and hit the lake for our maiden voyage (Juno Lake, Southwest MI).

This site has been an appreciated resource.
