I had a single wall tent. For one overnight crawling in a bedtime and out in am it worked fine. spending a rainy day in it not so much. Lots of condensation warring sleep bag and me.

I like the simplicity of both double wall external pitch and single wall tents.

Hi Pat,

The first and second photos are of a Kuiu Mountain Star tent taken July 2020 on Fairy Lake and Friday Bay in the boundary water canoe area.

The third and fourth photos are of a Naturehike Bear ul2 tent taken July 2021 on Saturday Bay and Iron Lake in the boundary water canoe area.

Hi pat,

The first and second photos are of a Kuiu Mountain Star tent taken July 2020 on Fairy Lake and Sunday Bay in the boundary water canoe area.

The third and fourth photos are of a Naturehike Bear ul2 tent taken July 2021 on Sunday Bay and Iron Lake in the boundary water canoe area.

The attached photos are of our campsite on Iron Lake. We could see the fires burning in Canada from Iron Lake.
Thanks Johnny, I'm unfamiliar with either of those brands. Are you happy with them?

I like to move often so quick easy set-up and take down is a priority.

The Mountain Star is a double wall external pitch tent. The canopy and rain fly are attached so that it can be quickly setup. It weathered both rain and high winds well but the interior felt too confining so I sold it.

The Bear ul2 is a single wall external pitch tent . I like the simplicity of single wall tents and the Bear ul2 has performed well.
