Boat review: Wenonah Graphite/Ultralite Garbage Scow

The ice is out in our area, finally. Our second paddle of the season and we got (had!) to try out our new Wenonah Garbage Scow. It is a converted MN II and it performed wonderfully in calm conditions to haul ourselves and over one-hundred pounds of trash from Lake Victoria during a seven mile outing. Have a wonderful season everyone!

To think that picking up garbage along waterways is something that has to be done. It blows my mind. No wonder this planet of ours does not have a chance. Have a good summer yourself and thanks for your contribution to clean waterways.

Here in Iowa, I join a group for a week long river clean up, every year, called Project AWARE.

I pcleaned up about a mile of river in my county., this is what I picked up, a few years ago.
