Best "tea bag" coffee?

. . . what is worse? Some coffee grounds dug into the ground from a good cup of coffee or countless bags, k-cups, plastic wrappers, bags and jars, pre-mixed Asian sourced milk products carried home and sent to the landfill?

Coffee grounds don't hurt a thing. No need to pack them out.

I generally agree with these sentiments, as one who grew up not far from New York City's primary and smelly landfill.

I don't pack out biodegradable vegetable matter when paddling in vegetated places, but I don't leave it strewn on the ground, fireplace or thunder box at a campsite either. At just about every lake and river I've ever paddled, there are comparatively endless miles of uninhabited, no-campground shoreline. That's where I deposit my tiny amount of vegetative garbage, which surely has no discernible effect compared to the tons of leaves, sticks and other organic matter that nature will deposit there. That's also where I prefer to take care of other business, too, rather than in cat holes near a campsite.

Desert paddling is different, but I've never done that.
