3 Days in the Sylvania

Just returned from 3 lovely days in the Sylvania Wilderness in the Southern UP of Michigan. Had exquisite weather , daytime in the 70s, nights low 50s and NO BUGS!! Saw a few folks but certainly a good wilderness vibe that is still close to home. (Green Bay).

Love seeing your old Coleman Peak 1 in action. I pulled out two of my old Peak 1s and will be using them next week in the Adirondacks! Great stoves, albeit heavy, but very easy to adjust the flame so they're great if you want to do more than just boil water. Thanks for all your photos. Glad you had a good trip.

Nice Sylvania trip. I hope to make it up there in mid October for a few nights. A bit more of a trip for me from Racine WI (6 hours).
