2017 Boundary Waters Expo

The Boundary Waters Expo is back for 2017. The event will be held June 17-18th on Northern Minnesota's Gunflint Trail. There will be gear, canoes, speakers and a highly competitive game of Dead Fish Polo. This year will also feature a moderated panel discussion featuring Cliff Jacobson, Dan Cooke, Rob Kesselring, Winchell Delano, and a USFS Wilderness Ranger.

​The schedule is up on the site, in a somewhat rough form. Ask away if there are any questions about the event.

It would be great to visit and have an excuse to visit the BWCA as well as hear Alan's trip reports in person. Maybe Cliff would even sign a book of his or two. Unfortunately I am leading a introductory backcountry/hiking workshop that weekend for ten folks locally.

Passports are convenient, the exchange however is not.
