15 ft Bastien Bros WC Canoe FS

I have a restored 15 foot Bastien Bros cedar canvas canoe for sale. It is currently set up as a solo boat but we have the original rear seat also. We repaired some ribs and planking, replaced the decks,stems and outer gunwales. New canvas was done with traditional filler, and painted yellow. Christy used it this summer and loved it. It is an easy portage at @60 lbs. $1200 is a fair price for this one.

Great canoe , especially for that price. I had the Farber which I think is pretty much the same, great lightweight (for wood canvas) canoe, paddles quiet and you get to look at all that cedar and canvas in front of you as you cruise the north.

I don't remember you using it on that trip? Or was it just too wet with it?

I swiped Christy's kijiji add and just modified it a wee bit.

Only used one summer by a little old lady. Highly ornamental. The canoe, not me. As Robin says, a nice quiet paddling canoe. It does take a pretty good load. I found that I had to put all the gear in front of the thwart to keep it trimmed. I am kind of sorry to let it go but at the same time, I really need a lighter boat if I want to keep doing this.
