Lot of peace and quiet down at Willow Slough, and a camp ground.. I'm just not into the noise and hustle and bustle up this way. Wolf Lake has canoeing too but I-80 runs right through it. I would be tempted to do the Calumet out this way if it had some access (and cleaner water). My dog drank...

Not that it matters, but it is not for me. I get a joy out of a good paddle stroke when my canoe does just what I want. ​Kayaks: It's a turn-off, man... :) ​Best wishes to everyone that uses them.

Oh, you needn't go to any trouble. The "it's not a good idea" is advice well taken. I'd be happy to go pay for over night parking. I just wasn't seeing much on Google Earth. ​Thanks very much for any advice! Cary
