GIS Shape File for Algonquin Park

Thanks for the suggestions. I have Jeff's map and based on it I'm creating a Shape file of campsites/routes. The campsite locations will be location estimates but useful to have on the GPS unit along with the paper map.

I am interested in locating a shape file of campsite locations of Algonquin Park. Is there anyone that might know where I might find a GIS Shape file of...

Nice trip report and great photos. That is the first time I've seen a "true" fire pit. Are they commonly built/dug that way out there?

    Algonquin late august

Long story short: One of our neighbors are Mormons and we order bulk freeze dried "prepper" (not that I'm a hard core prepper) foods through them from Provident Pantry but you can buy single 22 oz cans of most everything though Amazon. http://www.happypreppers.com/Provident-Pantry.html

Yes, I put them together and use a Ziploc vacuum sealer. I have no idea on the cost comparison to Mountain House but would guess it's less expensive putting them together yourself. More cost on the initial purchases but less in the long run and I control the ingredients which means I usually add...

2016 BWCA trip with Jake and my buddy Hogan.

I am in total agreement...almost. The only disagreement is I would substitute the rum for some smoked maple Kentucky whiskey on ice. I enjoyed the photos and report. Thanks for sharing.

    Algonquin 5/15 - 5/20/16

Very nice trip report. Thanks for posting. Questions: Did you fish at all? How were, if any, the blackflies (although I'm thinking they were not out yet)? Do you think you could have packed differently somehow so you wouldn't had to do a double carry or was it truly a question of not being in...

Placid Boatworks Werner paddle yoke modification

    Chuck Box anyone?

No Title I have this Beaver Tree Camp Kitchen but only use it family camping. It fits in my Old Town Penobscot 16' just fine, holds a lot of kitchen gear, and it's organized. The removable lid doubles as a wash/sink basin. It will store everything you seen in the photo an more.
