Delivery of New Northwind Solo

Can’t wait to get out in this with my dog. Only 25 lbs. The lip of the CF gunnels is on the inside, so my removeable yoke will work (gonna hot dip it. NS also moved the seat back and also separated the rear thwart from the seat, so my backrest should fit without moving the thwart. This boat also came with internal skid plates (invisible from outside) and a factory hand loop. Not sure if I’ll install lining holes.

I was able to use my standard removeable yoke. To protect the CF gunwales, I dipped the aluminum tangs in rubber, and added some gorilla tape on the gunnels where contact is made. The gunnels are thicker and angled on the inner lip, so the yoke doesn’t fit perfectly. I’ll need to be careful lifting and lowering to not rely on the contact points.
