DBix here. Really looking forward to getting out and spending some weekends exploring the North East. Last year did a 10 day to the Debsconeag Lakes region in Maine. Did some trips in the Adirondacks but for the most part grew up fishing and paddling on Lake Ontario with my father. Want to get back to the Adirondacks now that I have my first solo canoe. Looking forward to learning from experienced canoeist here on this channel.

I've paddled small portions of several rivers including the St Lawrence in search of Musky. Dad and I had a Coleman Canoe back in the day. I dont have a burning desire to paddle any specific area other than the Lows Lake area. I watch a lot of people on YouTube. I think something in the area of Saranac or Tupper lake early in the season but I would like to explore the St Regis Wilderness area as well. Is there an ice out website for the Adirondacks.

I have a 10 day trip mid June up in Maine. Debsconeag lakes Wilderness Area.
