The Freedom 17 would be an excellent choice for a composite build ! It doesn't have any Tumblehome, so the hull should lift easily from the Male mold.
Randy posted a video.

The Freedom 17 is also an excellent Tandem, making it worthy of reproducing as a lighter weight Composite

Jim, thanks for the link. Why do you think he used the carbon on the inside and Kevlar out? My understanding is that the opposite is ideal, or is that only when using those materials with a cored boat like a stripper? The same with the basalt Inegra. I thought it's strength was impact and abrasion (according to Northstar), yet he is putting it on the inside. I'm confused.
