Wenonah now offers SuperLite construction on some canoes

I'm not sure exactly when this new laminate construction was announced, but Wenonah now makes three or four canoes in "SuperLite," which is 15% lighter than their Ultralight Aramid construction. For example, the 18'-5" Minnesota II can be made at 36.5 pounds (16.5 kg).

The 16'-6" solo Prism is also made in SuperLite at 29 lbs.

Happy to see Wenonah embrace infusion technology! I'm sure they will expand the offering to other models eventually. I wonder what's next: carbon fiber gunnels perhaps?
