Finally got the straight shaft.
When tandem paddling, I normally use a bent, in the bow, but a straight in the stern.
I wanted to upgrade my straight shaft for the North Wind 17 I have on order.
I came pretty close to buying a Werner Journey, but then I saw the Black Lite on sale.
My quality expectations were pretty high, after seeing the Tour Lite, and I wasn't disappointed.
This is about as close to my vision of the perfect stern paddle as I'm likely to find.
A little longer, narrower blade, without being overly so. T-grip for good control.
Wish I was going to the Boundary Waters. With the new canoe and new paddles, I'd be all set.
