Wanted to Purchase - 17-18 foot wood canvas tripping boat

I'm looking for a 17' or 18' wood canvas tripping boat. Chestnut Garry (Prospector) preferred. Might consider an 18.6 White or 18 Old Town Guide. Others? Perfect condition and Chippendale finish not necessary. Not looking for a basket case but would consider a boat in need of recanvas and other repairs. The boat will be used for actual tripping, not hung on the wall.

None of our boats are wall hangers, but we also only have 2 17 footers and both need work, although the Penobscot could use just some planking and canvas I believe. Likely too far away for you though. Robin would be the go to guy for Chestnuts.

Kijiji .....St Catharines ON...( Fort Erie actually) 17 foot Old town. Needs repair, canvas. Wants $500 but this is the second year he has been trying to get rid of it so maybe less if you work on it.

i think there is a 17.6" 'cruiser' in muskoka kijiji...might be a ways to portage...
