Upper Thelon River - Fish in Kettle Ponds

Hello all,

Looking at pic's of the Thelon, I am curious - do kettle ponds generally contain fish? I envision casting while walking the shorelines.

Made way to many casts over the years to ponds that had no fish due to acid rain and such. Trying to keep that to a minimum.
