Mulling a change in the fleet - and am curious for those that have experience with Bell, Colden, and Swift canoes - how would you compare the ability to withstand a rock strike between the builds? I have a WG Bell but really want to jump on a Colden that is just a total beauty - but I am afraid of what I will do to such a stunning (and rare) boat! Perhaps it makes more sense to spend a bit more and get an Expedition Kevlar Swift - will be more money up front, but I do not think I would dread scratching it as much as I would a rarer boat like the Colden. Would love to hear experiences and thoughts...
