Hey all
Can anyone point me in the direction of some kind of plans for a solo racing/exercise canoe? I wanna go fast, or faster than my river tripper. I would be building it as a stripper.
I really like the looks of the Clipper Freedom, but I am open minded.
Thanks for looking.

Thanks guys. The Barracuda looks pretty good, I’m going to give it some serious consideration. I’m not planning to build this until next winter so lots of time to figure, or maybe win the lottery..

Cheers.

Are the plans available ?

Yes. That's my build. In the spirit of sharing knowledge on this forum, and as others before me have done- I am happy to send station drawings and plans to anyone interested in building the Dragonfly boat. I think I also still have MDF forms out in the garage. In the thread, I explain the design was for a very specific purpose and to closely match my personal weight/fitness level, so there are a few other things to consider in building a boat for speed matched to a certain paddler. I'd love to see someone else attempt it, though.

If I was young and in racing form ?

That is great of you to offer the plans !

It's definitely not a hull for a beginner !
