I recently saw something on a vendor's Facebook page about the Pink Chair finally falling through the ice on Saranac. I asked about it there, but my comment was evidently deleted (too dumb? I don't know.) But could someone enlighten me as to the significance of the custom? Thanks!

Hey Keith! I think I met you at the store a couple summers back... and I was wrong. my post was not deleted, just didn't show up in FB when I looked for it... it showed back up later in the day. I did a little research on my own and found the page you linked me to... So how long as this been going on? and does the chair color change with sponsorship of different charities?
