He was a true gentleman and a kindly Ranger. I have lunched with him a couple of times on the Allagash and he did a fine job on the West Branch of the Penobscot.

We met him early during a 2-family W. Branch trip on Lobster. He was everything a Ranger should be, helpful, kind and personable.

He was quite taken with Wilma, our friend’s German Shorthair Pointer, and related that he had GSP’s in his past.
