News of Alex Hall of Thelon River fame

Sad news. Alex led many trips to the Thelon area and was quite active in trying to keep mining and other exploration out of that area. Never met him but met people who have traveler with him. They all had nothing but good things to say about him. His book Discovering Eden: A Lifetime of Paddling the Arctic Rivers ia a treasurer read. I wish him well.
