For the time being, all new potential members will receive an email from me before being accepted as a member. The reason I will be doing this is to confirm you are truly interested in canoes and our website and not here to sell something.
This email will ask 2-3 easy to answer questions about your personal canoe experience, or your canoe aspirations. Nothing difficult, but spelling, grammar and sentence structure are important to make this work. Specific's will also be required, as in my favorite river is the Ottawa in southern Ontario....
Also, if you have a separate email account for this registration that you seldom check, you will need to look for my email at the address you used when registering. It might take a few days for me to get the email out to you, so please be patient.
Also, when responding to me, please include the user name you signed up with.
