His Reading the Forested Landscapes segments are also great, and he has a book by that title as well. I have to try and understand past landuse as part of my job, so I find his stuff, and the other stuff on that channel, particularly valuable.

I've met Tom in the woods with his class a couple of times. I've read all his books, they are regional, and I'm not sure how they would translate outside of Central New England.
