Also headed the Canadian Canoe Museum on your return from Killarney, this month to add to the addiction

you need to deepen your addiction. That will come. One year the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association Assembly was held at Peterborough. One of the perks of being a member was being allowed to immerse oneself in the archives out back for three hours.. I will never never forget that. Maybe you can ask how that is possible to get back there...

Thanks I am a member but it is going to be a very short trip with many stops along the way, the archives will have to wait.

It arrived today with prefect timing, semi-immobile for the next few days, and my wife has to work this weekend.

It's a lively interesting read and a fascinating insight into the many personalities involved in Canadian Canoeing.. I like the many mentions of canoe play in the history of Canadian canoeing as well as tripping.

Fun book, Not dry at all.
