Just discovered this builder about 50 minutes travel from our place. Some nice canoes and accessories.

Yes, nice canoes, a 15' 5" weighing 50lbs makes a nice solo tripper, and at $3500 not a bad price.

And this is a nice feature of the business-
"Our workshops also specializes in the restoration of old crafts, which is made in the respect of the tradition. Furthermore, we buy old cedar canoes and sell them restored."

So, maybe an old Chestnut or a Farber restored by a pro, can be had at a reasonable price.
