Hi YC, right now I'd rather wait awhile. Even if the season is dry we have a lot of black flies this year.

Our onslaught of BF started about a month ago then got snowed out. Then they came back biting. And they persist but they have been joined by their cuzins.. The skeeters. Our low temps this weekend will be 0. Today was 33 or 34. Ouch.. The veggies are not happy.
I want to get to Elliston NL before Aug 15. We will take kayaks and sea kayak out of there but its one of the puffin capitals of Canada. There are puffins that walk along with you on the trail A wonderful municipal campground on the ocean too.
Well it is a hope. Hope you are well. we are and our area is not affected. We are doing a lot of local paddling with the absence of tourists.
