Failed and sort of successful attempts to power a canoe with jet engines. So, why didn't the engineer simply weight down the bow for level trim and higher speed, given that hull speed in knots equals 1.34 x the square root of the waterline length in feet.

This very short but clickbait-titled second video shows a successful implementation of a powered hydrofoil canoe, which I don't think would work well on class 4 mountain creeks.

Video #1 - I guess this proves that a displacement hull will never plane, no matter what the horse power behind it is. I like their style though.

Video #2 - What form of witch craft is powering that canoe?
