There was a discussion elsewhere about weather radios. Sooner or later even if we carry one, it fails, or there are no stations. Now what to do?

I found this article that while I don't agree with all of it seems to fit what I have noticed about the sky.

Do any of you have observations or words of wisdom? The article seems to fit most of the US and Canada and not Florida very well. The prevailing fair weather winds there in the southernmost part are out of the east.

There is an old saw that sailors use.

"Red sun in the morning, sailors take warning."

"Red sun at night, sailor's delight."

I am glad that they included it.
