For Valentine's Day from the Canadian Canoe Museum

Thanks Yellow Canoe! That's the one time I might be tempted to take off my PFD and her's too! Although at this time of year if you did fall out of your canoe you'd only land on the ice. Cold but safe.
Now that's a question: How did they ever pick the dead center of the most inhospitable month to dedicate to sweethearts and romance?

I'm just getting around to finishing an older wood/canvas canoe. After my wife of 37 years saw that canoe at the C.C.M. she decided my wood/canvas will become a "courting" canoe complete with a nice high-backed chair facing inwards, a parasol, a wine cooler, picnic basket and music. Sigh. The only upside to all of this is that she stated, with a wink, that we weren't real Canadians - yet.

Hence you need practice..Your offspring are a testament that you know the basics.
