How many times have you been out paddling and seen the perfect photo opportunity only to not have a camera handy. This time I was ready.

Taken on the Silver River in the Ocala National Forest, Florida

At the house, I am usually blessed with some stopping over spring migrating wood ducks for about a week each spring, and this year was no different. But we never see ducklings... this year we also seem to have a pair of beaver which I get a real kick out of, since they too seem to disappear fairly fast as we are on a tidal creek and the surrounding area doesn't seem to support any other beaver.

I got my Cormorants in a row today.

Ken,
Thor does love Canadian geese! We have a chopped up season for them here that starts in September and ends in February. The first big goose he retrieved he had this crazy look in his eyes like: "Look at the size of this thing I got!!" He will circle a goose and grab it's neck and give it a vicious shake first, I assume after getting whacked with a wing once or twice.
