I have a fiberglass Curtis Northstar that I purchased in 1988. It has been hanging unused in my garage for over 15 yrs and is in good condition. I want to sell, but I'm not sure of a fair price. 2 PFDs and paddles included. I'm located in Springfield Illinois. Note surface scratching and several small gelcoat chips on bow. Also, cane seats have been replaced with webbing. Any comments are appreciated.

Dave Yost design.
Length 16' Weight 67 lbs
Hull widths- at gunwales 32" max 36" at 4" 31 1/2"

I can't remember the last time a Northstar came up for sale. I sold a Hemlock Eagle last year for $1600, but it was Kevlar. I've also sold a Swift Algonquin 16 in Goldenglass for $750 and a Malecite in FG for $700, both mint. There may be some collectible value for Curtis fans, but a 67 pound fiberglass tandem would have a lot of competition in the marketplace. She sure is purty, tho'.

I forgot to add: there is a Facebook Group for Hemlock/Curtis Canoe Owners. They do seem to have an affection for the brand.
