I picked up a knife from BPS Knives last year. I purchased a BS 3 model, mainly because I wanted to try a Scandinavian grind. It is very similar to a Mora Companion.

My friend just picked up an HK 4 in D2 steel. It is a great looking knife.

These are great knives, especially for the price.

I've shared a Brand Store on Amazon with you. https://www.amazon.com/stores/BPSKn...ag=mshop-android-att-ampd-all-phone-pre-us-20

I like Mora knives for on the water. Nothing to corrode or rot.
They are cheap, they clip on the lifejacket and they are sharp.

Maybe for on the water they're ok but they suck for cutting onions, or at least that's what I hear.

I have not yet used the BPS or Mora for food prep. Theoretically a flat or even a hollow grind would work better as a kitchen knife.
I picked them up to try the Scandinavian grind. I have done a little whittling and harvested some fatwood with the BPS.
BPS has a large variety of styles available including some full flat grinds. The HK 4 my friend just picked up is a flat grind in D2.
